Overview
I am a statistician and health services researcher with more than three decades of experience applying advanced analytics to large clinical and administrative datasets, including extensive work with Medicare claims, to evaluate healthcare quality, utilization patterns, and payment system effects. My research portfolio includes claims-based quality measurement, risk adjustment, and the study of high-cost and high-need patient populations. I have numerous peer reviewed publications leveraging Medicare data to assess outcomes, care fragmentation, and the impact of system-level factors on surgical and medical care. Prior to my position at HRS, I served as the first Chief Data and Analytics Officer at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
