Research Focus

Lisa Juckett’s research focuses on bridging the gap between empirical discoveries and the utilization of these discoveries in actual healthcare practice settings. Heavily informed by the field of implementation science, Juckett’s research examines the factors and strategies that influence evidence-based practice adoption, primarily in healthcare organizations that serve the older adult population. Juckett’s work infuses dissemination and implementation concepts into the occupational therapy field, thereby helping to expedite the process of integrating effective programs and interventions into real-world occupational therapy practice.
