Overview

Prior to joining the faculty in the Division of Occupational Therapy at OSU, Dr. Bartman served as a Doctoral Capstone Coordinator, Program Director, and Department Chair in entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctoral Programs in Pennsylvania. Dr. Bartman has over thirteen years of clinical experience in acute care, working with burn-injured patients, as well as trauma, orthopedic, and neurological conditions. She has been teaching full-time in OTD programs for over ten years. 

Dr. Bartman teaches a variety of hands-on clinical courses, including courses focused on physical agent modalities, biomechanics, orthopedics, and acute care. Her research focus is the scholarship of teaching and learning, specifically student self-efficacy for clinical experiences. Dr. Bartman serves as the current President of Pi Theta Epsilon National Honor Society and is the Chair of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association Conference.
