Research Focus

My research utilizes a lifespan approach to aging in the broad sense. This includes research in growth and development, changes in body composition with aging, and assessment of chronic disease risk. My research examines how both genetic and non-genetic risk factors impact chronic diseases including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis.
