Overview

Dr. Boucher is an Associate Professor in the Division of Athletic Training in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Additionally, she is the Director of Curriculum and Admissions for the Master of Athletic Training Program. Her research focuses on clinical anatomy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and clinical educational scholarship. These areas combine her knowledge of anatomy and the physical exam to aid in proper diagnosis and prevention of injuries. More specifically, her research focuses on anatomical variation and implications for injury, proper diagnosis, and physical exam accuracy. Her secondary research area utilizes musculoskeletal ultrasound to study various tissue characteristics and teaching methods related to injury diagnosis and student clinical self-efficacy. While her primary role in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is teaching, her research continually informs her teaching approach and adds to the impact she can make on her students.
