Overview

I serve as an Instructor of Practice in the Occupational Therapy Division at The Ohio State University. A proud alumna of the program, I graduated with my OTD in 2020 and entered clinical practice as an occupational therapist at Harding Hospital. My practice included acute psychiatric and partial hospitalization care, with a focus on the treatment of psychotic and personality disorders. This clinical foundation informs my teaching, as I continue this work alongside my academic role. Before joining the faculty full-time, I taught in the Ohio State OTD program for several years as an adjunct professor. My teaching portfolio includes courses related to mental health practice and the importance of the therapeutic relationship, including Therapeutic Use of Self (OCCTHER 6130/31), Mental Health and Cognition (OCCTHER 6220/21), and Advanced Community Mental Health (OCCTHER 7760). I have also supported additional courses including Older Adult Lab (OCCTHER 7261) and Level I Fieldwork in Mental Health (OCCTHER 6189).
