The Ohio State University’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences invites applications for a master’s prepared full-time academic advisor I within our Office of Academic Affairs. We are seeking professionals to contribute to our dynamic and collaborative cohort of staff and faculty.
Our office is the primary advising and student services office for prospective and enrolled students in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. We serve students preparing to apply to one of our programs and provide advising services and support to students enrolled in the program.

Successful candidates must be able to:
- foster student success by implementing proactive strategies that help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals
- advise students on university policy and procedures, program and degree requirements, and related academic matters
- assist and participate in orientation, teach a survey course, and build rapport and academic advising relationships within the School, University, and community
- understand the three NACADA Core Competency components and be able to synthesize and apply them as needed in advising interactions
