U.S. News & World Report released their new 2020 Best Graduate School rankings today and places The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at #9 (up from #10 last year) and its Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program at #13 in the nation.
“Ohio State is humbled to be recognized among the nation’s leading physical therapy programs,” said John Buford, PT, PhD, professor and director, Division of Physical Therapy. “Our students, faculty, staff and clinical partners strive for excellence every day. We are grateful to be recognized for these efforts.”
Ohio State Physical Therapy ranked #9 out of 239 doctoral programs in physical therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
Ohio State Occupational Therapy ranked #13 out of 198 doctoral and master's degree programs in occupational therapy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.
U.S. News survey respondents rate fully accredited programs based on various factors, including but not limited to, faculty credentials and training, peer reputation, the preparedness of a school's incoming students and the career or academic outcomes of a school's graduates.
