The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS) is proud to announce the first graduating class from the Master of Respiratory Therapy (MRT) advanced practice program. The Ohio State MRT is the first advanced practice clinical master's degree for respiratory care in the nation.

Our graduates will be prepared to successfully obtain advanced practice credentials to position themselves for independent supervised practice in order meet the needs of patients with cardiopulmonary diseases and disorders in a variety of patient care settings. The MRT allows for an expanded scope of practice and additional professional growth opportunities that were not previously available in respiratory therapy.
