Graduation Information

Final semester resources and checklist

The Graduate School deadline to apply for graduation will remain the same (3rd Friday of the intended semester of graduation); however, to approve the electronic forms by the posted Graduate School deadline, all applications for graduation need to be completed and submitted online no later than 3 business days before the posted Graduate School deadline.

If you have additional questions regarding graduation, please contact HRS Graduate Student Services.

Commencement Information

The graduate school has gone paperless and no longer mails commencement brochures. An email will be sent to the student mid-quarter and the processional numbers are sent to the student via email about a week before the ceremony. For additional information or to complete a Commencement Absence Form, please visit http://commencement.osu.edu/.
