’08 and ’14, Katie Smith (BA Life and Human Sciences and MS in Medical Dietetics) Buckeye Women’s Basketball legend, WNBA All-Star and three-time Olympic gold medalist, received the Dan L. Heinlen Award from The Ohio State University Alumni Association for her work off the court – giving back to the community, paving new ways for female athletes to earn a living and inspiring women to thrive in whatever profession they choose.
