’14 and ’16, Jaclyn Geitz (BS Human Nutrition and MS Medical Dietetics) received the Young Dietician of the Year award by the Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Jackie is currently a clinical instructor in Medical Dietetics. (published 2019)

’16 and ’19, Sakiko Minagawa (BS Education and MS Health & Rehabilitation Sciences) finished 51st overall in the 2019 Columbus Half Marathon and 3rd in her division. Sakiko is a registered dietitian nutritionist and has started her own nutrition consultation business, Peak Performance Sports Nutrition, LLC (peakperformance.com). She is busy planning her wedding and training for the 2020 Olympic Marathon Trials. (published 2019
’16, Emily Morehouse (BS Health Sciences) was recently honored at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine’s annual awards program in May with a scholarship. Emily was a recipient of the Dr. Frances Joan Masser Scholarship. Emily is the president of the Illinois Student Chapter of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians. (published 2019)
’17, Ellen Johnston (BS HIMS) was recently awarded the opportunity for an all-expense paid trip to the 2018 AHIMA Convention in Miami, Florida. ’17 and ’20, Sundus Mohammad (BS Radiologic Sciences & Therapy and MS Health & Rehabilitation Sciences) was recently named program director of Sonography and Vascular Technology in the Division of Radiologic Sciences and Therapy in The Ohio State University’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. ’17, Cody Reiman (BS Health Sciences) was quoted in College Magazine’s Guide to the Health Science Major stating: "The health sciences major prepares you to be put in different situations based on the experience of gaining information in major. The difference between someone who gets a biology degree and someone who gets a health sciences degree is that the health sciences major has a bigger perspective of the health care system instead of strictly analyzing the sample in front of them." Cody is a lead clinical laboratory technician in the Clinical Trials Processing Laboratory at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. (published 2021)

He received the William Craig and Mary Black Orr Scholarship from the Ohio State College of Medicine, where he is currently a student, and is a lab research technician working with Dr. Kevin Evans in the Laboratory for Investigatory Imaging.
