Research Focus

My cancer-relevant research interests include biopsychosocial approaches to cancer prevention and survivorship in order to improve health outcomes (e.g., symptoms, health-related quality of life) of diverse patient populations. I am also interested in educational and behavioral interventions that will improve cancer screenings and survivorship. Specifically, I am interested in implementing patient navigation interventions to address the physical and psychological symptoms, follow-up visits, cancer screenings, and medication adherence among older cancer survivors.
