Ohio State offers the only central Ohio rehabilitation program that is certified for both traumatic brain injury (TBI) and stroke care. Our spinal cord injury rehabilitation program is the best in the central Ohio region.
Ohio State’s rehabilitation program has been consistently recognized for decades as among the nation’s best. We are one of only seven centers in the nation chosen to participate in the NeuroRecovery Network, which uses activity-based therapies for spinal cord injury rehabilitation. We have offered unparalleled leadership in caring for those with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke.
Ohio State is accredited by CARF – the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. This national recognition means physical rehabilitation programs at Ohio State meet or exceed the highest standards of quality, safety and outcome measures. Our outpatient Specialty Amputee Program is one of only two CARF-accredited outpatient amputee programs in the nation.
