Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Ohio State is a leader in the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation, a safe, effective and painless neurotherapy to treat mood disorders, including depression. This outpatient treatment is available for adults whose symptoms persist even after treatment with medications and psychotherapy.
At the Ohio State Neuropsychology Clinic, we perform comprehensive evaluations for adults with concerns about their thinking abilities (cognition). Referral questions often relate to specific conditions that can be associated with changes in cognition, such as Alzheimer's disease, brain tumors, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, traumatic brain injury and others. We also evaluate candidates prior to brain surgery and organ transplant surgery.
