Focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) is a common form of benign liver tumor. FNH is a benign tumor of the liver, which is the second most prevalent tumor of the liver.

FNH occurs mainly in women ages 20-30. These tumors have no symptoms.


FNH is generally discovered during imaging tests for other conditions.


No treatment is necessary, unless they are very large. In rare cases, the doctor may recommend surgical removal to avoid the risk of rupture.
