Muler who we affectionately call “Moe” is a budding graduate student. Moe emigrated from Ethiopia where he had a BA in Workforce Development. He came to the US with his wife (Physical Therapist) and 2 small children. Moe speaks 5 different languages and initially worked as a medical interpreter in the OSU hospital system. That is where he got interested watching patients having ultrasound exams. Moe graduated from the OSU BS Sonography program in 2016 with Latin Honors and was a co-founder of our Diversity Advisor Group, in the Division. Moe is ARDMS credentialed in OB/Gyn, RVT and plans to sit for the Abdomen exam very soon. Besides working part-time for the JDMS, Moe is a Vascular Technologist working for the Veteran’s Administration. Recently he was transferred to the Columbus VA’s dedicated Vascular lab.

I am hoping to begin my MS graduate studies this fall in HRS. I am very interested in using sonography as a screening tool for acute disease processes.
